Angel Locsin and team Iba Yan surprise stuntmen and stuntwomen with 30 new bikes from Gretchen Ho through Woman in Action initiative!




Angel Locsin who has starred in a few action themed teleseryes is very vocal about her admiration to the stuntmen and women behind the camera. For Iba Yan’s 14th episode, the actress was able to catch up with her Tatay Val whom she has worked with in some of her projects. Tatay Val, Val Iglesias is a legendary stunt director who has been in the industry for four decades. His daughter, Valyn Iglesias followed his footsteps and together they started SAP, Stunt Association of the Philippines.


Angel Locsin also had a meaningful conversation with her own stand-in and body double Jasmen Fuentes and learned the story of Salvador family. Among all the stories that these amazing stuntmen shared, they all talked about how the pandemic has affected their livelihood. They all resorted to finding another way to earn a living now that they do not have a lot of job offers amid the pandemic.


Angel Locsin and team Iba Yan as always did not hesitate to help these unsung heroes behind the scenes. Through the help of Gretchen Ho, through her Woman In Action PH initiative, Stunt Association of the Philippines received 30 new bikes that can be very useful as they navigate to the new normal.

City of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno was filled with so much gratitude as he thanked those people for their outpouring support to the city of Manila via donations and to those who have provided assistance including the philanthropic actress Angel Locsin and her fiancé Neil Arce. The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
