"Wherever our paths lead us - ATE mo ko" Kris Aquino to Angel Locsin





In the exhilarating world of showbizness where finding real friends is deemed to be impossible, there are some who established a friendship that will last a lifetime. One great example is Angel Locsin and Dimples Romana who have found each other on the set of the 2008 fantaserye Lobo and have been inseparable since.

Aside from Dimples, Angel is surrounded by real friends in the biz one of which is her Ate Kris. Ever since Angel transferred to Kapamilya network, Kris Aquino has been a very welcoming colleague to the actress during her interviews that eventually turned out to be the kind of friendship that they have right now.


They have done relief operations together, went to shopping together for Angel's house needs way back 2016 and never failed to show support to each other just like way back 2018 when Angel together with Kim Chiu held a blockscreening for the movie "I Love You Hater" starring Kris Aquino, Joshua Garcia and Julia Baretto.




At present, though they seem to be traversing different paths and is now under different network, Ms. Kris assured Angel that she will always be her Ate.


On Kris Aquino's recent Instagram post where she announced a new chapter on her career, Angel Locsin did not forget to congratulate her ate.


Ms. Kris Aquino then replied "you know wherever our paths lead us - ATE mo ko..." she also made mention of one thing that Angel told her that she'll never forget "i'll never forget when you told me, "kailan ba naging masama maging tunay na kaibigan?""

The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
