Korina Sanchez meets Angel Locsin and Neil Arce! Couple talks about how they met and shares details on their upcoming wedding!




It has been a year since Angel Locsin and Neil Arce got engaged. After Locsin’s top-rated teleserye ‘The General’s Daughter’, the actress allotted most of her time preparing for their upcoming wedding until the pandemic happened. They have to pause on the preparations but make the most of their time helping others through #UniTENTweStandPH and their new show on Kapamilya Channel, Iba Yan.


“Director lover”, that’s what Angel Locsin calls Neil Arce on the set of their new show as what she revealed on an exclusive interview with Korina Sanchez.


This is the first time they worked together, “Actually ayaw namin magkatrabaho talaga kasi baka pag-awayan namin pero sa pagkakataong ito I think it’s a blessing kasi merong naglolook-after sa akin ‘pag nasa labas ako and sya rin ganon.” says Locsin.




Neil Arce then jumped in to the interview. They talked about how they met and their upcoming wedding. Neil Arce shared the day he met Angel Locsin which was way back 2010 and the rest is history.


They have been friends for the longest time and when asked how is it better for Angel And Neil that they started as close friends before committing into a romantic relationship, “For me it’s better, kung maging magkaibigan muna kayo bago kayo pumasok sa isang relasyon. You’re very comfortable na sa isa’t-isa, alam nyo na yung mga do’s and dont’s, alam na rin namin ‘yung pinagdaanan namin sa mga past relationships namin, so andun na talaga ‘yung respect.” says Angel Locsin.


The interview wouldn’t be complete without talking about their most anticipated wedding. Angel did not reveal the exact date but revealed that it was scheduled this year until the pandemic happened. As per Locsin, it is still early for them to tell if it will be moved or not because with the pandemic, the future is still in a blur as no one knows when will this pandemic be over. When it comes to the wedding preparations, Neil Arce revealed that they are ready, they are just waiting for everything to get back to normal — when it’s already safe to hold a mass gathering once again.

Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

Angel Locsin lists down donated goods to Taal victims, thanks donors and volunteers!

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
