A netizen hopes Angel won’t stop acting in TV; also shares his fondest memory of Angel as Reyna Elena!
During the The General’s Daughter’s final Grand Press Conference held at Dolphy Theater last September 26, Angel Locsin revealed that The General’s Daughter might be her last teleserye.
She also shared that she will focus on her health and wedding preparations after the show but still has four pending films under Star Cinema.
Now that The General’s Daughter has come to its end, this admission is probably also the main reason why this netizen who goes by the Twitter handle @kevinmanalo_ went emotional over his thread and shared his fondest memory of Angel Locsin when he was still a kid.
The tweet went:
“Angel Locsin is perhaps the Filipina actress I admire the most. She’s a humanitarian, a silent samaritan, and has a kind heart. She probably can never remember but she once become a Reyna Elena in our small town in QC. I was 8 years old then. I hope she won’t stop acting in TV.
I remember her being so simple and kind to us, children. Mind you, it was raining cats and dogs that night of May, but she weathered through it all. We were all soaking wet but we continued the parade. I was one of the many escorts that night.
I’ll be sad if she decides to quit doing teleseryes. But hey, it’s unfair if we get in her way. We should all give her the same support, in front or behind the camera.
It’s inevitable, anyway. Someday, we will say goodbye to some things we love doing...in order to pursue other things that make us genuinely happy.”
You are probably jealous right now and can only imagine how extremely beautiful Angel Locsin as Reyna Elena but more than that, the tweet really got right in the feels as it sums up all our thoughts and well wishes for Angel.
You deserve happiness on top of happiness, Angel. Whatever happens, solid tayo, Team Angel!
