"Pangarap ko na magkaroon ng eskwelahan; libreng eskwelahan para makapagbigay ng maganda at pantay na edukasyon para sa lahat" Angel Locsin on Talking Money: HER - Women in Asia, a DW Documentary.
More and more women are becoming financially independent. Just like the saying "the future is female", we are seeing women rise above their chosen career and vocations.
An episode of DW Documentary highlights women in various countries in Asia who found their financial independence and has since used that said independence/freedom to make an impact to their community and their society. One of the women highlighted in this episode is none other than Angel Locsin.
Angel Locsin shared her relationship with money and how she developed the sense of giving and the love for her community.
The actress also touched the subject of her humanitarian efforts and shared what she dreams of doing in the future to help her community.
"I don't really wanna talk about the charities that I'm donating to, but I'm a strong advocate for women and children's right."
"A volunteer and a film and television actress", this is how she introduced herself but for us, she is more than that, she is the real-life Angel who never forgets; she's always one of the first ones to make a move to help people who have been devastated by calamities. She always make her compassion and her presence felt by people who needed it the most.
