It isn’t the first time known talk show host Cristy Fermin commends Angel Locsin for her consistent philanthropy.


On “Showbiz Now Na!”, Fermin and her co-hosts Romel Chika and Morly Alinio spoke highly of the philanthropic actress for her heart to serve others including showbiz reporters and some people they know personally. Even Romel and Morly have had experiences on how generous Locsin is.


The SNN hosts also cited the instances when Angel Locsin wowed us with her tireless charitable efforts during the nationwide lockdown due to the spike of COVID-19 outbreak.





“Nag-aapoy pa nga ‘yung bahay ko Ate Cristy ‘nung nasunugan ako sa Parola.. Nag-aapoy pa, andun na ‘yung tulong niya [Angel]”, Morly shared her unforgettable experience on how Angel responded immediately to their cries for help. Meanwhile, Romel shared how Locsin helped many displaced employees who lost their jobs due to ABS-CBN shutdown.

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims.
