Cristy Fermin and SNN co-hosts sing Angel Locsin praises for her humility and generosity!




At this point, we probably have heard hundreds of stories about Angel Locsin and their first-hand experience meeting her. How she’s always polite, kind, and humble no matter whom she’s talking to and how she extends a helping hand to whoever is in need. But these are the types of stories that we’ll never get tired of and just recently, the actress once again received praises, this time from the hosts of Showbiz Now Na.


Cristy Fermin, Morly Alinio, and Romel Chika talked about actors and actresses whom they’ve had unforgettable experiences with and who always acknowledge their works and was never snub one of which is Angel Locsin. Morly shared her personal experience with the actress which led to her sharing how she’s helped her one time she’s in a crisis.


“Si Angel yung klase ng artista na kilala nya yung mga reporters, first name basis at alam nya kung ano yung nga sinusulat sa kanya siguro nagbabasa umaga pa lang at marunong magpasalamat” she shared.


She also mentioned that one time that her house caught on fire and how quickly Angel offered a helping hand.




“Nag-aapoy pa yung bahay ko andun na yung tulong nya talaga.” she added.


Romel then shared how touched his drag queens friends are when the actress visited them and offered help in the midst of the pandemic.


“Madalas ipinagsisimba ko si Angel, lagi kong pinagdarasal na sana dumami ang raket ni Angel, sana magkaroon sya ng maraming-maraming pera dahil yung pera na napupunta sa kanya, yung kinikita nya, isineshare nya.” said Morly


“At tsaka siya nga po, paulit ulit naming sinasabi kapag namimigay po siya ng tulong sa ating mga kababayan tuwing may kalamidad, yung ginagawa ng kaliwang kamay hindi alam ng kanan, hindi po pinamamalita…” says Cristy Fermin.


Time and time again, the way her colleagues and everyone in the industry sing her praises for her kindness only further proves how much of a big heart she really have which only make us love her even more!

Mayor Isko to Angel Locsin, “Mabasa ka sana ng ulan para dumami ka pa.”

City of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno was filled with so much gratitude as he thanked those people for their outpouring support to the city of Manila via donations and to those who have provided assistance including the philanthropic actress Angel Locsin and her fiancé Neil Arce. The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

Angel Locsin lists down donated goods to Taal victims, thanks donors and volunteers!

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans. On her Instagram post, the actress expressed her gratitude to more than 100 volunteers who helped them repack food packs and hygiene kits.
