Vice Ganda throws VP Leni Robredo and Angel Locsin a birthday celebration at her humble abode!




It's Taurus season which only means that our favorite real-life Angel, Angel Locsin is celebrating her birthday!


April 23 is when the world is blessed with the existence of not one but two amazing women that changed people's lives; Angel Locsin and VP Leni Robredo.


These amazing women are trailblazers in their own right and has inspired a lot of people to do the same. Angel Locsin has always been present helping other people at times of calamities while VP Leni Robredo fulfill her duties as the country's vice president with integrity, accountability, and utmost transparency.




Last Saturday, these two women celebrated their birthday in a different, most fruitful way. Angel Locsin attended VP Leni's people's rally while the latter celebrated it by being the light to almost 500K people who attended the rally. But before that, another game changer threw them a simple celebration at her own home.


On a Facebook post, Angel Locsin and VP Leni Robredo were spotted at Vice Ganda's home. The unkabogable box office superstar had prepared a small celebration for the two!


Angel and Vice's friendship goes way back. They have been good friends since we all could possibly remember and evidently, their friendship extends to their beliefs. They also share the same courage in expressing their support to VP Leni Robredo for her presidency run.


It is not easy supporting a candidate for celebrities especially at Angel and Vice's stature. Once they express their support to someone, they become the target of naysayers and bashers but these people won't stop them for speaking their truth and we are really fortunate that people with their platform and wide reach are willing to take a stand for the greater good.

City of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno was filled with so much gratitude as he thanked those people for their outpouring support to the city of Manila via donations and to those who have provided assistance including the philanthropic actress Angel Locsin and her fiancé Neil Arce. The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans. On her Instagram post, the actress expressed her gratitude to more than 100 volunteers who helped them repack food packs and hygiene kits.
