We all know Angel as one of the best actresses in the industry, she's also known for her humanitarian efforts in fact, she has been recognized for it not just locally but also internationally, she's also one of the kindest people you'll ever meet but what some of you may not know is, she's also a doting daughter who loves her father more than anything.


Angel Locsin has always been vocal of how much she value, love, and honor her father. She never fails to express how thankful she is for having him as a father through her words more so her actions.


But despite everything she's done for him and her family and everything she's accomplished, she always has this one thing she’s saddened about — her father not knowing what she looks like now.


One of the reasons why Angel worked really hard from the beginning of her career is to save up enough money for her father’s operation.


Daddy Angel lost his eyesight early on, unfortunately when she saved up enough money for his operation, it is already too much of a risk to operate.




“Yun ang pinanghihinayangan ko sa buong buhay ko lalo na dati nung peak ko, halos lahat ng part ng EDSA may billboard ako sunod-sunod.


“Siguro kalahati ng Pilipinas alam ‘yung mukha ko pero yung tatay ko hindi” the actress emotionally shared in an interview with Ogie Diaz when they talked about her father.


And though things didn’t go as planned, Angel Locsin makes sure to do everything she could to give her father the best life and the love he’s shown his children bleeds through how they reciprocate the love they have for him.


We can say that whoever Angel Locsin is right now, a big part of it was influenced by her Dad and we couldn’t thank him enough for he has raised an Angel, a woman who inspires many and is admired because of her genuine heart.

The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
