Angel Locsin wins Multifaceted Actress and Goodwill Advocate of the Year at the Global Trends Business Leaders Awards 2022!




In her over 15 years in the industry, Angel Locsin has made such a huge impact in people's lives not just through her series and movies but also through her humanitarian efforts and philanthropies. One can say that she has done it all and now, she is reaping the fruits of all her hard work.


Angel Locsin has won a lot of awards, so many that we already lost count; some of it were for her impeccable performance for her roles both on TV and on the big screen, some were for her tireless efforts to help those in need especially at times of distress.


Just recently, the actress-philanthropist once again bagged a recognition as she was hailed as the Multifaceted Actress and Goodwill Advocate of the Year at the Global Trends Business Leaders Awards which is a non-profit organization who recognizes business leaders who manifest and defined excellence in their own respective industries.




Angel has contributed so much in the entertainment industry and in the community. Her consistency in helping those in need which dates back to more than a decade ago is really commendable.


She did all these out of the pureness of her heart without asking for anything but it is just apt to recognize her tireless efforts to make other people's lives better the best possible way she can.


She is such an icon and a legend in her own right. The things she's achieved over the course of her career is like no other, she is the one and only real-life Darna who deserves all the love, respect, and recognition that she's getting after everything that she's done.

Mayor Isko to Angel Locsin, “Mabasa ka sana ng ulan para dumami ka pa.”

City of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno was filled with so much gratitude as he thanked those people for their outpouring support to the city of Manila via donations and to those who have provided assistance including the philanthropic actress Angel Locsin and her fiancé Neil Arce. The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Amongst many personalities who spoke up against the government order to close ABS-CBN's broadcast operations, Philanthropic actress Angel Locsin also disapproves of the decision as it will cost even more Filipinos their livelihood. “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik,” she said on her Instagram story. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans. On her Instagram post, the actress expressed her gratitude to more than 100 volunteers who helped them repack food packs and hygiene kits.
