An involvement of the third party in a what used to be a loving relationship most often than not tarnish the relationship or worst, end it. But as destructive and trivial infidelity is, it is also one of the major selling points in some of the country’s most popular and most phenomenal teleseryes.
Infidelity is one of the major plot points of every teleseryes in the country. The thrill of watching other’s experience with a cheating wife/husband appeals to people. Some of these series in fact made records as the most watched series and came to the top of their competitors.
ABS-CBN is known for its series of great quality some of them were series and movies that talk about infidelity. They have created a number of them and one of the most memorable is ‘The Legal Wife’ starring Angel Locsin, Maja Salvador, JC de Vera, and Jericho Rosales.
The Legal Wife is still one of the most phenomenal TV series ever created. Despite its late timeslot back in 2014, numbers showed that people are waiting until late in the evening only to watch the show and not miss an episode! Their finale is still the top rated final episode amongst all the series on the said timeslot!
The writing, the story, and the performance of the actors are definitely some of the reasons why people loved the show.
The intense catfights and face-offs between Angel Locsin’s character Monica and Maja Salvador’s character Nicole always put the viewers on the edge of their seats while the dramatic scenes did not fail to make the viewers cry.
