Dimples Romana and Angel Locsin have been friends for more than a decade. Their friendship that started on-screen as Lyka and Trixie in the hit series Lobo became one of the most admired friendships in the entertainment industry. They are each other’s confidante, shoulder to lean on, and sometimes, each other’s ‘bullies’.


Just recently, Dimples looks back to the day she sensed something different between Neil Arce and Angel Locsin back when they’re just starting their relationship.




Starting off as friends, the couple admitted that their transition to becoming lovers is a wee bit awkward and clearly, that change in the atmosphere didn’t go unnoticed by the people closest to them especially a bestfriend like Dimples who knows Angel really well.


On her Instagram stories, Dimples shared a throwback photo taken on the said day that she sensed that something more is going on between the two and evidently, she couldn’t be more right!


Dimples played a big part in Angel and Neil’s relationship. From the time they’re transitioning to friends to lovers to Neil buying a ring to propose to Angel to their civil wedding attended only by a chosen few, Dimples has always been thereto witness the love these two have.


Angel Locsin and Dimples Romana are the model bestfriends that we all look up to. Their friendship is nothing but goals and the way they have each other's back wherever, whenever is really ideal. They love each other, support one another, never leave one behind and celebrate every milestone together!

The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
