Angel Locsin gives 2M pesos aid to victims of typhoon Odette as revealed by Ms. Kris Aquino!




It has been a devastating past couple of days for our kababayans who were badly affected by typhoon Odette. Just a week before Christmas, many have lost their homes, their livelihood, and everything that they worked hard for. They were displaced and are now cooped up in evacuation centers not knowing if they’ll come home in time for Christmas.


With this unfortunate event that happened, people are now in need of help to get through the day and thankfully, there are people out there who never hesitate to share what they have and help in whatever ways they can and in these times of crisis, we all know one person who never fails to show up and extend a helping hand — Angel Locsin.


Angel Locsin has always been an active humanitarian. In every calamity or drought, you can count on her generosity and benevolence to help those in need. She doesn’t just help for the sake of it, she’s doing it out of her genuine kindness and concern to those who are affected by calamities and just as expected, she once again showed how of a real-life angel she is by helping victims of typhoon Odette.




As we previously reported, Angel Locsin was photographed arriving at the Leni Robredo-Kiko Pangilinan headquarters in Katipunan, QC to give aid for victims of #OdettePH.


No one knows the specifics on how much or what Angel contributed to help but just recently, Ms. Kris Aquino revealed that the actress actually donated 2M pesos!


In 2019, Angel has reported to have donated 15M pesos to various causes over the years and for some it is enough... more than enough maybe, but as a literal Angel that she is, she just never gets tired of helping, she’s not someone who’ll just sit back and watch while others are struggling which is just one of the many reasons why she’s dubbed as the real-life Darna!

City of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno was filled with so much gratitude as he thanked those people for their outpouring support to the city of Manila via donations and to those who have provided assistance including the philanthropic actress Angel Locsin and her fiancé Neil Arce. The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans. On her Instagram post, the actress expressed her gratitude to more than 100 volunteers who helped them repack food packs and hygiene kits.
