Maalaala Mo Kaya is the longest running drama anthology reigning for 30 years now. The true-to-life stories brought to life never fail to inspire the viewers. In 2018, Maalaala Mo Kaya through the episode starring Angel Locsin has set a record for winning the first Asian Academy Creative Awards Best Single Drama category!


May of 2017, Angel Locsin breathe life to the real life story of a loving mother who have no intention but to help a lost child until his parents look for him and accused her of kidnapping her with no regards to what she’s done to help the boy. The said episode has drawn controversies and became a trending topic worldwide and nationwide!


Angel Locsin did such a great job in portraying the role of Saminah/ Roma Tarub that earned her not just one, not two, but five best actress awards in just a single performance.




She won the 1st Gawad Lasallianeta’s Most Outstanding TV Actress, 7th Edukcircle Awards’ Best Single Performance by an Actress, 2nd GEMS’ Best Actress in a Single Performance, 26th KBP Golden Dove Awards’ Best Actress in Drama and 16th Gawad Tanglaw’s Best Actress in a Single Performance.


Four years after it originally aired, it still remains to be one of the most heart-wrenching episode not only because of the storyline but also because of the brilliance that Angel Locsin, Dimples Romana, and Jane Oineza showed portraying their respective roles.


For their 30th anniversary, MMK prepared a special something for their viewers as they handpicked four of the most well-remembered MMK episodes for the entire month of November! It certainly is one of the biggest line-ups they could come up with as it involves Enchong Dee and Jeff Gaitan in ‘Ink of Smile’ this Saturday, ‘Kamao’ starring Coco Martin and Jodi Sta. Maria on Nov. 13, ‘Sinturon’ starting Anne Curtis and Bianca King on Nov. 20, and last but definitely not the least, ‘Kotse-kotsehan’ starring Angel Locsin and Dimples Romana!

The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
