Angel Locsin throws a surprise birthday celebration for her bestfriend Dimples Romana!




Angel Locsin and Dimples Romana are the model bestfriends that we all look up to. Their friendship is nothing but goals and the way they have each other's back wherever, whenever is really ideal. They love each other, support one another, and never leave one behind and they never hesitate to show it to one another and in some ways, to everyone.


Just recently, Dimples Romana celebrated her birthday and as the best bestfriend that she is, Angel Locsin threw a surprise a birthday celebration at her humble abode!


On her Instagram post, Dimples shared that she is set to visit Angel and Neil before she goes on her taping lockdown for her new series Viral Scandal and to her surprise, her bestfriend has set-up a small celbration for her birthday with balloons and cake and all. With Dimples Romana that day is her co-star Charlie Dizon. On her caption she wrote "Salamat mars ko , super sarap food from @tipsypig_ph and may kakanin pa and cakes 🥰😍 at balloooons na sure akong binusisi pa ni Gel ang pagihip 😅🤣

The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
