Mulawin, Darna, In The Name of Love, and Everything About Her! Angel Locsin talks about some of her most memorable teleseryes and movies!




In her more than 15 years in the industry, Angel Locsin has made her own legacy through the series and movies she starred in. She has become a household name early on and since then, people haven’t forgotten the angelic girl who captured the hearts of many through her impeccable acting prowess.


Everything that Angel Locsin top-billed is memorable and it is almost impossible to pick a favorite but in an interview with Celeste Tuviera, Angel revealed two teleseryes that are for her, among the most memorable.


“Lahat gusto ko eh pero malapit lang talaga sa puso ko, well ‘yung Mulawin kasi ‘yun ‘yung first teleserye na pinagkatiwalaan ka talaga ‘yung mag lead ganyan tapos di pa uso ‘yung mga action scenes dati at fantaserye diba,” Angel shared.


And apart from Mulawin, another unforgettable series that skyrocketed Angel’s career is the phenomenal Darna which she also considered as one of the most memorable teleseryes she’s done.




“Of course Darna ‘yung pinaka iconic naman, parang lahat ng artistang babae nagwiwish na makapagplay na Darna.”


Angel did not just showcased her acting prowess on TV, she also made box office hits and reigned the big screen. She has done over 10 movies in her career so far and on the same interview, the actress admitted that her personal faves are ‘In The Name of Love’ and ‘Everything About Her’


“Gusto ko talagang makatrabaho si direk Olivia Lamasan eversince so nung kinast niya ako sa ‘In The Name of Love’ kasama pa si kuya Aga [Muhlach] parang dream come true talaga siya,” the actress shared.


With everything that Angel Locsin has done and contributed in the entertainment industry, we can, with certainty, say that she had a great career and created a legacy that people will remember forever!

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
