Angel Locsin’s life in costumes: Darna, Alwina, Sabina, Daenerys Targaryen and more!




Halloween is that one holiday where we can all dress-up and play make believe. Every year, people dress up sometimes funny, most times scary. Angel Locsin certainly did not miss the chance to dress up every year and on her Instagram account, the actress looked back to all the Halloween costumes that she wore over the years.


In 2018, Angel Locsin and Neil Arce celebrated Halloween outside the country, in Los Angeles California in particular. They attended a Halloween party dressed as the phenomenal and iconic Game of Thrones characters Daenerys Targaryen and Jon Snow.


The year after that, the couple once again showed how they love Halloween and went all out at the Opulence Halloween party organized by their friend. The couple slayed the carpet as they went twinning in their ‘True Blood’ inspired costumes!




Unlike most of us, Halloween isn’t the only day Angel gets to wear costumes, it is in fact part of her daily life as an actress. She puts on a costume as a requirement for some of the roles she portrayed and on her recent Instagram post, the actress did not just share all her Halloween costumes but her life in costume in general.


For the most part of her career, Angel Locsin spent all of it wearing costume starting with her first-ever fantaserye Mulawin, she wore bird wings and customized armor as Alwina.


After retiring Alwina’s wings, the actress then took on Darna’s cape and became one of the most phenomenal actresses who donned the costume.


Aside from all these characters, Angel Locsin also took on quite a few hats that required her to put on a costume like that of her character in Majika -- Sabina, La Luna Sangre – Jacintha Magsaysay and many more!

City of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno was filled with so much gratitude as he thanked those people for their outpouring support to the city of Manila via donations and to those who have provided assistance including the philanthropic actress Angel Locsin and her fiancé Neil Arce. The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

Angel Locsin lists down donated goods to Taal victims, thanks donors and volunteers!

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans. On her Instagram post, the actress expressed her gratitude to more than 100 volunteers who helped them repack food packs and hygiene kits.
