“The world can never work without health workers.” — Angel Locsin

We have been battling the pandemic for more than a year now and we are in no way close to going back to normal. Some areas are still under modified enhanced quarantine, some business establishments had to cut-off their hours, and our economy is slowly falling apart.

But those in the frontlines had the worst of it all, some can’t even go home and see their families because of the fear of contacting the virus and pass it off to their families and some were restless and underpaid.

Angel Locsin, on her recent Instagram post empathizes with everyone who can’t go and console their family and friends in this time of pandemic.

“To those who can’t go & console family & friends fighting their battles alone. I feel you. I wish for you to overcome whatever it is you are going through.”

The actress also shared that this pandemic made her realize that the world can’t work without health workers and we couldn’t agree more!

“This crisis has made me realize that the world can work without politicians, businessmen, police, and even without actors like me. but the world can never work without health workers. Again, thank you for all that you do. Sending everyone strength, hope, and love”

Dealing with the pandemic has been tough especially to those who have lost their jobs because of it and are still struggling to make ends meet. We’ve been in this predicament in 16 months and in just a few months, we’ll be welcoming a brand new year hopefully better than the previous ones now that vaccines are already available to protect us from the virus.
