"It’s been a week of feeling helpless" Angel Locsin after her father tested positive for Covid-19.




The pandemic had made us all fight our battles alone just like Angel Locsin's father Mr. Angel Colmenares who tested positive for Covid-19 just recently.


On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin shared a photo of her father on his way to the hospital and on her caption, the actress revealed feeling helpless.


"It’s been a week of feeling helpless. Imagine having covid at 94. Now imagine being blind in unfamiliar surroundings.

So many realizations during this pandemic. We all have our battles, but some definitely more than others. To the PWD’s and everyone fighting their battles alone, kapit!🤗 This too shall pass ❤️" her caption reads.



As we all know, Daddy Angel lost his sense of sight a long time ago which is one of Angel's motivation to work hard and be the established and known actress that she is today and the thought of him alone in a surroundings he's not familiar with is heartbreaking not to mention the challenges his facing for testing positive for Covid-19.


It is without a doubt a hard time for Angel's family especially because they're not be able to visit their father in the hospital due to some protocols and the threat of contacting the virus themselves which explains her post a few days ago when she said "To those who can’t go & console family & friends fighting their battles alone. I feel you. I wish for you to overcome whatever it is you are going through."


We don't have any further information or details about Daddy Angel's condition but it is comforting to know that he is fully vaccinated as Angel shared a photo of him getting vaccinated on her Instagram account a few months back.

The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
