Angel Locsin embarks the start of "Ber" months with a throwback performance of Ariel Rivera hit 'Sana Ngayong Pasko'!




Christmas is one of the most anticipated holidays in the Philippines. It might just be the biggest and longest holiday in the country which we literally start counting down the days the moment "Ber" months start and now that we start the month of September, we already know what it means, our favorite Christmas singers will dominate the music industry.


We are all familiar of the ongoing meme of Jose Mari Chan who sung most of our favorite Christmas songs that's been going around social media and last September 1st, Angel Locsin joined in the trend and embark the start of 'Ber' months with a throwback performance of Ariel Rivera's hit song "Sana Ngayong Pasko" which she performed during her first ever ABS-CBN Christmas Special in 2007 and on her caption she wrote:

Angel Locsin is known for her acting skills and humanitarian efforts but she sometimes bust out those singing skills during special occasions and guesting like that of the yearly ABS-CBN Christmas Special, ASAP, or a mall show. She is a no singer but she sure isn’t out of tune but either way, her husband Neil Arce did not let the opportunity to tease his wife pass and on his comment he wrote “Maggogolf ako baka umulan. Stop!” with which she replied “blessing yun ano ka ba!”


The pass 2 years wasn’t easy and until now, we are still in this predicament that seems impossible to overcome but Christmas will always be a holiday we should look forward to.

The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
