Stand-up comedian Dionisia Clara Dela Fuente gives update on the progress of food business package gifted to her by Angel Locsin and team Iba Yan!

On Iba Yan's 41st episode, they shed light on the stories and struggles of those who makes people laugh for a living — stand-up comedians. Before the pandemic happened, they have always been the source of people's happiness, they make the entire room burst into laughter with their wit and funny demeanor but like most industries, they were badly affected by the pandemic and has then since struggled in making ends meet.

One story that stood out is that of Dionisia Clara Dela Fuente, a stand-up comedian who's famously known for her impersonation. On the said episode, Dionisia shared how she suffered from anxiety thinking how to make ends meet because of the pandemic.

"Nung time ng pandemic, dun ako nakaramdam ng ano... ayoko ng may kausap, ang dami kong babayaran/binabayaran, tapos wala naman akong kinikita paano ko 'yun maitatawid."

To ease some of her worries, Angel Locsin and team Iba Yan gifted her groceries, make-up kit, ring light, maintenance medicine for her and her mother, and food business package and just recently, Dionisia gives an update on how the business is going.

On her facebook account, Dionisia posted series of photos of the ongoing construction of the foodcart she received a few months back and expressed her gratitude to Angel Locsin, Neil Arce, and team Iba Yan.

The pandemic certainly has affected everyone and has caused a lot of issues not only physically but also mentally. Just thinking about when or how everything can go back to normal and how to make ends meet will fry your brain but thankfully, there are people outthere who make an effort to help others, to ease their anxiety, and to somehow make their lives better.
