Angel Locsin ditched heels for these white sneakers on her wedding day!




Angel Locsin and Neil Arce have always been low-key and simple in terms of their relationship and it is a no wonder why every detail on their wedding is an accurate representation of simplicity. Each detail is carefully curated to perfectly represent who they are as individuals and as a couple.


“Simple, pero rock” is how Angel described their wedding. The intricate details are carefully curated based on the couple’s vision of simplicity. Aside from everything being low-key in comparison to weddings people expected for a couple in entertainment industry, another thing that stood out is the couple’s outfit especially the bride’s.


The bride’s gown is usually what catches the eye of the people which still holds true in Angel and Neil’s wedding but this time it is not because of how grand or how expensive it was but because of how practical and simple the bride’s ensemble is.




Angel is not your ordinary bride, she ditched the usual white gown/dress and went for pants and white top and blazer which matches the outfit of her groom. She also prioritized comfort before anything else as she rocked a classic white sneakers which coincidentally once again matches her groom.


Angel and Neil’s wedding redefines the word simplicity, love, and sincerity. Without any fan fare or press releases, the couple stayed mum about their wedding until they made an official announcement 2 weeks after they got married.


This wedding is definitely one for the books, though it is unconventional and not exactly what’s expected of a couple who can afford a lavish and fancy wedding, they still got there, they still were able to profess their love for each other in the most intimate and sincere way.


But this is not the end of it, as revealed on the recent video they shared on their YouTube channel, there still is a Christian wedding being planned where they plan to exchange their wedding band!

The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
