Before KathNiel, LizQuen, and Jadine reigned supreme in the biz and made us all fall in love with their movies and series with their impeccable chemistry, we first had the taste of romance and kilig vibes with epic loveteams who starred in some romantic movies that made us fall in love with their story and chemistry. Some of these loveteams have parted ways already but their projects and the love they made the viewers felt with their electrifying chemistry lives on.


Angel Locsin and Richard Gutierrez, popularly known as ChardGel is one of the most sought after team up in the early 2000s. Their loveteam started with the fantaserye Mulawin where they played the role of Alwina and Aguiluz.Their chemistry won the hearts of the viewers and with the success of their first project, they land a major role and top bill their first project on the big screen. People can't get enough of their chemistry and after their first movie comes not one but 4 more movies most of which premiered on Valentine's day.




Another love team that we are all familiar with are Jericho Rosales and Kristine Hermosa. They starred in some of the most well-known romantic classic films like 'Forevermore' and 'Ngayong Nandito Ka' and some iconic series that has been since remade like 'Pangako Sa'yo'.


Apart from the two abovementioned loveteams, no one can ever forget Marvin Agustin and Jolina Magdangal who starred in most romantic comedy movies in the late 90s and early 2000s. Their movies bring back memories and their loveteam bring a different kind of kilig no matter how long it has already been.


Other loveteams that we all really loved that though some of them have parted ways already still holds a special place in the viewers' hearts are Bea Alonzo and John Lloyd Cruz, Judy Anne Santos and Piolo Pascual, Dindong Dantes and Marian Rivera, and Claudine Baretto and Rico Yan.

City of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno was filled with so much gratitude as he thanked those people for their outpouring support to the city of Manila via donations and to those who have provided assistance including the philanthropic actress Angel Locsin and her fiancé Neil Arce. The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Amongst many personalities who spoke up against the government order to close ABS-CBN's broadcast operations, Philanthropic actress Angel Locsin also disapproves of the decision as it will cost even more Filipinos their livelihood. “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik,” she said on her Instagram story. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans. On her Instagram post, the actress expressed her gratitude to more than 100 volunteers who helped them repack food packs and hygiene kits.
