Angel Locsin shares the inspiring story of bike enthusiast and his advocacies in Iba Yan!

Last May 30, Angel Locsin and team Iba Yan shared the stories of "bike heroes", people who have been helping others and pursuing their advocacy with the use of the simplest and one of the most convenient ways of transportation, bicycle.

We learned the story of Jomar, an online seller who delivers orders using his bike. He received a brand new bike from team Iba Yan to replace his old one that was damage and almost rendered useless due to an accident.

Another inspiring story that Iba Yan shared on the same episode is that of Michael Ydel, a bike enthusiast who has been inspiring others with his advocacies while enjoying his passion for biking. Michael has been biking for 16 years now and while on the road, he makes an effort to stop at spots where he find plastic bottles and trash, pick them up and throw them at the right trash bin. He decided to make his advocacy public and share it on social media to inspire others to do the same.

Apart from helping clean the environment, Michael also helps the homeless, he gives them relief packs, foods for breakfast, or grocery items.

As a simple appreciation for everything that he's doing, Angel Locsin and team Iba Yan gave him tulong kalikasan kit that contains garbage picker, trash bags, alcohol, masks, and gloves which are helpful tools in continuing his advocacy. The team also gifted him Law School prep books and bike bag with grocery packs!

In this time of pandemic, most people shifted to bikes as a mode of transportation but in this episode of Iba Yan, we have learned that bikes is not at all just for recreation, it can be useful in many ways possible just like our bike heroes Jomar and Michael!
