Angel Locsin expresses gratitude for being one of the 2021 MEGA Fashion Awards' Most Promising Leader of this Generation!




In recent news, Angel Locsin has once again received a recognition for her philanthropic efforts, how she uses her platform to influence others, and how she lead by example at the 2021 MEGA Fashion Awards. The actress was recently recognized as one of the Most Promisising Leaders of this Generation and we couldn't be more proud!


2021 MEGA Fashion Awards happened last Friday, May 28, 2021 and in today's new normal, it was done virtually. Angel Locsin accepted the award and sent a message of appreciation to MEGA.




"Thank you to everyone at One Mega group, Mega magazine, and Mega Fashion Awards for including me as one of the most promising leaders of the generation"

"It's very heartwarming and an honor to be included on this so salamat po." she added.

The actress also left a meaningful and inspiring message for everyone.

"Siguro like what you do in MEGA, you're using your platform and inspiring a lot of people, I'm just trying to do my small share and I've been blessed to be among those who have given a platform which I use not only for my work but to lend voice on important matters such as spreading awareness, promoting volunteerism and showing genuine malasakit to other people"

It is true, Angel Locsin just doesn't use her platform to promote herself but also to influence others and be the voice to the unheard and as blessed as she was to have this platform, we are also as blessed because she uses her influence for the betterment of other people.

Mayor Isko to Angel Locsin, “Mabasa ka sana ng ulan para dumami ka pa.”

City of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno was filled with so much gratitude as he thanked those people for their outpouring support to the city of Manila via donations and to those who have provided assistance including the philanthropic actress Angel Locsin and her fiancé Neil Arce. The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
