Angel Locsin and Team Iba Yan surprise Tree's A Life team with Motorcycle, safety gear, cash assistance and more!




Last Sunday, Team Iba 'Yan went to visit an inspiring team who's doing an amazing service to the people and to the environment; Tree's A Life, a group of people who make environmental friendly charcoal out of dried water lilies.


Aside from helping the environment, they also help people with disabilities to make a living by hiring them.


Their stories inspired many including Angel Locsin herself. As someone who made protecting the environment one of her advocacies, the actress expressed her admiration to the team for what they're doing.


"Nakakabilib po na may mga kagaya po ninyo na nakakatulong po sa paghilom ng kalikasan. Saludo po ako sa mga adhikain ninyo."




And because of their inspiring story and initiative to protect mother earth, team Iba Yan surprise Tree's A Life team with gifts that can be used to their day to day operation. Team Iba Yan gave them a motorcycle with kolong-kolong, safety gears, and cash assistance for their production.


Apart from all these gifts the team also bought 300 packs of echo uling with which they distributed to two uling vendors at a public market, in that way, it can be introduced to new customers and hopefully will help them gain new customers.


The team also gifted Kuya Ofemio Rangel, one of Tree's a Life co-founder, a prosthetic leg from Physicians for Peace Walking Free Philippines and Relyn Nieva, also one of the co-founders, groceries, cash assistance for her and her daughter's check-up and a scholarship from Taguig City University for her eldest daughter.


Tree's A Life team expressed their gratitude to the team for all the blessings that they showered them.

City of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno was filled with so much gratitude as he thanked those people for their outpouring support to the city of Manila via donations and to those who have provided assistance including the philanthropic actress Angel Locsin and her fiancé Neil Arce. The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
