Only you starring Angel Locsin to return on Kapamilya Online Live today April 11!




Angel Locsin first set foot in kapamilya network way back 2007. Her first acting job as a kapamilya was a special role in MMK from which she earned her first acting award. It did not take too long for her to land a lead role in a teleserye alongside Piolo Pascual. She took on the role of Lyka and her impressive performance got nods from the juries of various award giving bodies earning her an international emmy’s nomination. After Lobo, she did a movie with star cinema and head on to making another teleserye which is a remake of the popular koreanovela “Only You.”


Angel Locsin took on the role of Jillian, a young lady who dreamt of being a chef, a famous one so to say.


Together with her longtime bestfriend, Jonathan (Diether Ocampo) she heads over to Korea to study different cuisines in preparation for the competition she’s joining that will send her to different Asian countries to study culinary arts if she wins.




Jillian realized that skill alone is not enough to pass such difficult course and decided to seek help and goes in search for a woman who can teach her a winning recipe. Jillian crosses paths with TJ (Sam Milby) who is looking for his mother, the same woman Jillian is looking for.


They hardly get along but still end up having a one night stand. The next morning, TJ left after a misunderstanding and Jillian never heard from him since. Jillian then finds out that she’s pregnant and six years after, they meet again.


Before taking the role as Jillian, majority of Angel Locsin’s roles are action-fantasy themed. “Only You” showed her other side, her great acting in dramatic scenes and her great and timely delivery of the show’s humor.


For those who are missing their favorite character Jillian, say no more because Only You will be back today April 11, Only You will be shown on Kapamilya Online Live and Jeepney TV!

The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
