Angel Locsin scholars, cancer warriors, ABS-CBN bosses, Neil Arce and more surprise Angel Locsin for her birthday celebration on Iba Yan!




April 23 is not just another day, it is a special day for Angel Locsin and everyone who loves her. This year, Angel celebrated her 36th birthday and on her public-service show Iba 'Yan, the actress was treated with a big surprise!


Starting with a special guest, Iba 'Yan brings Angelica Panganiban to host Angel's surprise birthday celebration on the show which was aired Sunday, April 25th.


"Masayang masaya ako na naexperience ko ang totoong Angel. Maraming nagmamahal sa'yo lagi kang nandiyan para sa mga taong nangangailang -- hindi lang para sa pamilya mo at mga kaibigan mo napakadami mo nang natulungan na tao" says Angelica.


With everything that Angel has been doing over the years, it is a no surprise that a lot of people want to wish her a happy birthday, this includes some of her scholars in Bukidnon and kids from Cancer Warrior Foundation who wished her a happy birthday and expressed their gratitude to the actress for tirelessly extending a helping hand.




The actress was not able to hold back her emotions as she remembered her scholars in Bukidnon. She revealed that she had to let go some of them after ABS-CBN's franchise had been revoked.


Her bestfriend Dimples Romana did not forget to send her love through a very sincere and touching birthday greeting. The megastar Ms. Sharon Cuneta also sent her love to Angel "I am very proud to know you because of the person that you are, how you've been helping our kababayan"


ABS-CBN bosses Direk Lauren Dyogi, Ms. Cory Vidanes, Mr. Carlo Katigbak, and Mr. Mark Lopez also extend their greetings to the actress. Mr. Mark Lopez expressed his gratitude to the actress for standing up for the network and for its employees "Thank you for everything that you've done, for the support that you've given ABS-CBN and its employees especially last year when we're going through a lot of challenges. We'll forever be grateful for everything, all the support that you've given us."


And finally, the most important people on Angel's life, her family and her fiancé Neil Arce who left his director's chair and gave Angel a beautiful bouquet of flowers and gave her the most loving and sincere declaration of love and birthday greeting!

The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
