Angel Locsin’s standout appearances on ABS-CBN Christmas Station ID through the years!




One of the most anticipated holidays we Filipinos are fond of celebrating is Christmas. Come September, we can already feel Christmas vibes and aside from the Christmas carols you’ll hear everywhere and the glistening Christmas lights along the streets, ABS-CBN Christmas Station ID is also one of the things that make us feel that Christmas is indeed fast approaching!


ABS-CBN conveys their Yuletide messages through its Christmas Station ID. It started way back 2002, they create an original song performed by its biggest and brightest stars in chorus. Every song that has been created captures the heart of every Kapamilya as its message is always relevant.


Angel Locsin has been a solid Kapamilya since 2007, the same year she made her first appearance on ABS-CBN Christmas Station ID “Walang Mag-iisa Ngayong Pasko” with Piolo Pascual, her leading man on her first ever teleserye as Kapamilya “Lobo”.




For the past years, Angel Locsin shared the frame with John Lloyd Cuz, Paulo Avelino, and other Kapamilya stars. In 2017, ardent ChardGel fans were all elated as they share a frame in “Just Love Ngayong Pasko” Christmas ID on the set of their then ongoing show La Luna Sangre.


The biggest and brightest stars of Kapamilya network gathered in one monumental event last 2018 for “Family is Love” Christmas ID. 400 stars came together to make their presence felt and Angel Locsin stood out alongside Bea Alonzo, Jericho Rosales, Vice Ganda, and Kapamilya’s brightest stars!


Stars’ appearances on Christmas Station ID or its concept is based on their current role, their aspirations, and their character and in this year’s station ID “Ikaw Ang Liwanag At Ligaya”, Angel Locsin kept the light shining for lantern makers who are featured on her Sunday show, Iba Yan. She also joined ABS-CBN top executives and biggest stars in the grand closing scene!


For the past 13 years, Angel Locsin only missed one Christmas Station ID and despite the challenges the network faced this year, she remains to be one solid Kapamilya!

Mayor Isko to Angel Locsin, “Mabasa ka sana ng ulan para dumami ka pa.”

City of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno was filled with so much gratitude as he thanked those people for their outpouring support to the city of Manila via donations and to those who have provided assistance including the philanthropic actress Angel Locsin and her fiancé Neil Arce. The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Amongst many personalities who spoke up against the government order to close ABS-CBN's broadcast operations, Philanthropic actress Angel Locsin also disapproves of the decision as it will cost even more Filipinos their livelihood. “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik,” she said on her Instagram story. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

Angel Locsin lists down donated goods to Taal victims, thanks donors and volunteers!

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans. On her Instagram post, the actress expressed her gratitude to more than 100 volunteers who helped them repack food packs and hygiene kits.
