Angel Locsin, hailed as one of the 10 Most Influential Celebrity of the Decade!




16 years ago, an inspiring young lady had her chance to showcase her talent on TV. She was given the opportunity to portray a challenging role in an action themed fantasy series, Mulawin. Since then, she has worked her way up to the top making a name of her own that needs no further introduction.


Over those years, she has captured the hearts of the Filipino people not only because of her exemplary portrayal of her iconic roles but also because of her innate compassion and drive to help other people.


Over the past decade, she has flown in far-flung areas in the country to extend a helping hand, visited various evacuation centers to personally check on people who were badly affected by calamities man-made or natural and instill and spark hope for those who needed it the most.




With numerous acting awards under her belt plus recognitions given to her because of her humanitarian efforts and her undeniable influence to people for being a good example and a role model, Angel Locsin was hailed as one of Edukcirle’s Most Influential Celebrity of the decade!


For the past years, she has had influenced many to come together and help one another just like the last projects she spearheaded #UniTENTweStandPH and Shop and Share. The actress together with some friends was able to collect almost 11M pesos from Filipinos all over the globe whom they inspired to come together and share what they have for the benefit of hospitals who are operating at full or overcapacity.


It is just fitting for Angel Locsin to be recognized on how she influenced others not only through her endorsements or TV and movie projects but also by setting an example as a real-life Darna that she’s always been.

Mayor Isko to Angel Locsin, “Mabasa ka sana ng ulan para dumami ka pa.”

City of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno was filled with so much gratitude as he thanked those people for their outpouring support to the city of Manila via donations and to those who have provided assistance including the philanthropic actress Angel Locsin and her fiancé Neil Arce. The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
