The stories of Pandesal Heroes and more tonight on Iba Yan’s 13th episode!

To say that life is hard in this time of pandemic is an understatement. We see before our eyes how the economy got affected by the surge of Covid-19 positive cases in the country. Hospitals are operating at full or overcapacity and people lose their job over the past few months. The unemployment rate in the country is on its highest compared to the past years and people are struggling in making ends meet.

Making a living in this time of pandemic is hard all the more harder to those who do not have an easy job even before this crisis like garbage scavengers, collectors and those who are earning on a day to day basis.

This sunday, for its 13th episode, Iba Yan will shed light on the story of Tatay Edwin Rendora and Juditha Pepito. They are just few of the garbage scavengers who are badly affected by the pandemic. They will share their stories and struggles on making ends meet on a daily in this time when they are not allowed to search the dumpsites.

This Sunday, they will also share the stories of Pandesal Heroes which aim to help those in need by giving them free pandesal.

On the teaser trailer that was posted on their Facebook account, Angel Locsin was seen talking to one of the panaderos at the bakery and asked if they can bake 800 pandesals daily for one month!

We don’t know what it is for yet and the only way to find out is to tune in tonight on Iba Yan 6:15PM on Kapamilya Channel available in some satellite cable channels like SKY, Cablelink, G Sat, and most member-cable operators of Philippine Cable Television Association INC (PCTA) ,digital platforms like IwantTFC and their social media accounts.
