PBB Balikbahay: Houseguest Angel Locsin and celebrity edition 2 housemates went to firing range for a firing competition!




Tapping celebrities to be a houseguest and to spend a limited amount of time with regular housemates is one of the most exciting parts of Pinoy Big Brother. In 2007, Angel Locsin who just then transferred to ABS-CBN visited PBB house and stayed with the housemates for 24 hours.


It has been an action packed visit for Angel Locsin and the housemates. Her entrance is something that no one can forget, she posed as a sniper with an actual paint gun shooting the male housemates! Angel Locsin spent her first day getting to know the housemates and helping them do some household chores.


The next day, Big brother has prepared a really exciting activity for the housemates and Angel.




They went outside the house and travelled to a firing range. Big Brother challenged them and prepared a firing competition between two teams; one is headed by Angel Locsin while the other is headed by one of the housemates. It was a friendly and exciting game. Some housemates are surprisingly good in shooting and unfortunately, Angel Locsin's team lost.


It surely is a memorable experience for the housemates as they have been confined inside Kuya's house for quite a while. As revealed by Big Brother himself, Angel requested that activity for the housemates for them to experience something different and exciting aside from the regular activities that they've been doing inside the house.


This was 13 years ago and Angel Locsin remains to be one of the most bad-ass, most considerate, and charming ladies you'll ever meet.

The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Amongst many personalities who spoke up against the government order to close ABS-CBN's broadcast operations, Philanthropic actress Angel Locsin also disapproves of the decision as it will cost even more Filipinos their livelihood. “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik,” she said on her Instagram story. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

Angel Locsin lists down donated goods to Taal victims, thanks donors and volunteers!

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans. On her Instagram post, the actress expressed her gratitude to more than 100 volunteers who helped them repack food packs and hygiene kits.
