One of the most phenomal teleserye Angel Locsin top-billed is the top-rated and record breaking The Legal Wife. The show is about Monica de Villa, the legal wife, who struggled really hard to keep her family intact amid a cheating husband Adrian. The show has made so much impact to the viewers and has affected their views on relationships and dealing with infidelity.


On her recent interview, the actress was asked if she ever did experience being cheated on just like her character Monica and without going into details, the actress revealed that she did experience being cheated on in real life. “Oo naexperience ko na. Kung dati kinasusuklaman ko, ngayon, hindi naman sa thankful o grateful pero siguro naappreciate ko na napagdaanan ko ‘yung ganong klaseng journey kasi nagagamit ko sya sa craft ko. Dahil sa sadness na ‘yun, nagkaroon ako ng best actress award and kahit papano nakatulong ako to uplift other women na may same journey” the actress said.




She also has a really meaningful and empowering insight about girls putting the blame on themselves whenever their partner cheat on them “Wala naman sa itsura ‘yun eh. Karamihan ng mga kababaihan kapag naloloko sinisisi yung sarili, pero mali ‘yun eh kailangan marealize ng mga kababaihan na yung ganong gawain, hindi mo fault ‘yun, hindi mo fault na masama ang ugali nung isa, hindi mo fault kung walang loyalty ‘yung isa.”


“Totoo na sa isang problema, dalawang tao ang involve pero sa kasalanan, isa na lang yun eh. Pag mali, mali pa rin. ‘Pag manloloko, maloloko talaga.” she added.

The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
