Iba Yan has blessed us with stories that totally touched our hearts and give us different perspective on how we see life. They did not just bring smile to the viewers through the stories they share but also to the people whom they feature. Each week, they give them amazing gifts and surprises that’s totally a great help in this time of pandemic.


Iba Yan first featured the stories of people who amid the pandemic chose to help others, they also share the stories of fishermen of Mauban Quezon, and shared the stories of exploited women among others.


Despite the risk that the pandemic entails, Angel Locsin with team Iba Yan brave the streets and went to various places to be able to share these stories and this Sunday for their 15th episode, the team went all the way to Norzagaray Bulacan to share us the stories of rich and colorful culture of ethnic Dumagat group who are preserving the beauty of nature around the area.




Angel Locsin will share their stories and struggles amid the pandemic and most importantly, will highlight their culture and their simple way of living.


There are numerous upland and lowland indigenous ethnolinguistic groups in the country and this Sunday, we’ll learn more about them and we’ll get to see a day in a live of these people who strive to make their culture alive.


Based on Angel Locsin’s Instagram post, it will actually be a two-part story and this Sunday, get ready for a fun, educational, and interesting story from Iba Yan with which you can watch on Kapamilya Channel and Kapamilya online live on ABS-CBN’s digital platforms.

Mayor Isko to Angel Locsin, “Mabasa ka sana ng ulan para dumami ka pa.”

City of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno was filled with so much gratitude as he thanked those people for their outpouring support to the city of Manila via donations and to those who have provided assistance including the philanthropic actress Angel Locsin and her fiancé Neil Arce. The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Amongst many personalities who spoke up against the government order to close ABS-CBN's broadcast operations, Philanthropic actress Angel Locsin also disapproves of the decision as it will cost even more Filipinos their livelihood. “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik,” she said on her Instagram story. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
