#IbaYan: Nanay Gay receives free skin treatment at the Aivee clinic from team Iba Yan and Angel Locsin!
For Iba Yan's 12th episode, Angel Locsin visited Heaven's Touch Cuisine in Sampaloc Manila where she met Ligaya Piadoche, "Nanay Gay" as what her customers fondly call her. Nanay Gay talked about the eatery's history and the food drive she launched together with her children to help the frontliners and other people in need during the pandemic.
Heaven's Touch Cuisine has been in business for over 14 years now. Nanay Gay shared with host Angel Locsin her story from her struggles in juggling her studies and work, her journey in creating her own family, and the time she landed her job in Heaven's Touch Cuisine. Through her determination and also with the help of some former customers who now have their own job, she was able to send her three children to well-known and highly respected universities in the country.
What used to be a haven of scrumptious and budget-friendly meals for students now became a quiet place because of the pandemic but this does not stop her in helping others. Nanay Gay revealed that though the business is temporarily closed they instead launched a food drive which aims to help frontliners and people in need amid the pandemic. To date, they were able to give-out 5000 meals to medical frontliners, law enforcers, people on the street, and locally stranded individuals.
Nanay Gay have done so much over the years and amid the pandemic and definitely deserves a treat! As one of the many gifts from team Iba Yan, Nanay Gay enjoyed a day of pure relaxation and rejuvenation at the Aivee clinic and was accommodated by none other done Dra. Aivee Teo herself as she gets treatments for her skin!
