In this day and age of social media, growing your followers is much easier. One well-thought of content done creatively can make make a buzz and gain you thousands of followers. As an influencer, gaining large number of followers is one thing but using that influence to a greater good is another.

Angel Locsin does not necessarily fall into the “social media influencer” category as she started in mainstream media but what makes her a true influencer is her passion and drive to influence others to do good for people.

Her philanthropic efforts has made her one of Forbes Asia’s Heroes of Philanthropy and has influenced others to do the same.

She’s oftentimes seen in far-flung areas hit by disasters man-made or natural and amid the pandemic, she used her resources to pool funds to help our health workers, frontliners, and people in need.

Apart from lending a helping hand to those in need, the actress also lend her voice to those unheard. She uses her wide reach to convey her opinion to things that matter just like how she stand up for her home network and encourage other celebrities to do the same.
