Angel Locsin and Neil Arce’s wedding moved to next year!





It was June of 2019 when Angel Locsin and Neil Arce made the very exciting announcement of being engaged. Since then, people have been looking forward to the big day to come.


The actress was still doing The General’s Daughter then and right after the show ended alongside with her exclusive contract with ABS-CBN, she decided to focus more on preparing for the upcoming wedding and opt to take a break from her showbiz career until the pandemic happened.


On their interview with Ms. Korina Sanchez last June 2020, the couple revealed that their wedding is supposed to happen this year “Ms. Korina magiging honest lang kami hindi namin pwedeng sabihin kung kelan ‘yung exact date for security reasons and privacy ng mga bisita pero dapat this year, this year sya talaga and medyo malapit na sya”




But things have changed because of the pandemic, on the same interview the actress revealed that it is still too early for them to decide whether or not to move the wedding on a later date but as we come close to the end of this year, the couple decided to move their wedding next year as confirmed on an article published by bandera inquirer.


Since their wedding preparations is temporarily put on hold because of the pandemic, the couple instead used their time to help others. They are oftentimes seen on ground zero building isolation tents for #UniTENTweStandPH campaign.


They are also currently collaborating on a project, a public service show every Sunday on Kapamilya channel called Iba Yan hosted by Angel Locsin which is Neil Arce’s first directorial job.


We may have to wait a little longer for our favorite couple to say their I do’s but one thing is for sure, it will be one of the most beautiful days of 2021 that we should look forward to.

Mayor Isko to Angel Locsin, “Mabasa ka sana ng ulan para dumami ka pa.”

City of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno was filled with so much gratitude as he thanked those people for their outpouring support to the city of Manila via donations and to those who have provided assistance including the philanthropic actress Angel Locsin and her fiancé Neil Arce. The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Amongst many personalities who spoke up against the government order to close ABS-CBN's broadcast operations, Philanthropic actress Angel Locsin also disapproves of the decision as it will cost even more Filipinos their livelihood. “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik,” she said on her Instagram story. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

Angel Locsin lists down donated goods to Taal victims, thanks donors and volunteers!

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans. On her Instagram post, the actress expressed her gratitude to more than 100 volunteers who helped them repack food packs and hygiene kits.
