It was almost a year ago today when Angel Locsin made headlines for not attending the ABS-CBN Ball for a very selfless and notable reason. But having all the stars under the same hall is nearly impossible and only happens once a year and Angel surely did not miss the fun and attended the after party.


Angelica Panganiban, Anne Curtis, Bea Alonzo and Angel Locsin made rounds on the internet that night because of their group photo at ABS-CBN Ball after party. Four of the biggest and most sought after actresses in the country in one candid photo screams so much power and people can’t stop talking about it.


On her interview in Magandang Buhay, Angelica Panganiban shared the story behind the viral photo. “Kasi kaming apat ‘pag nagsasama-sama kami, hindi naman talaga namin pinopost on social media. Mas gusto namin na private lang yung mga ganap na nangyayare sa amin so eto yung pinaka public event na nagsama-sama kaming apat so lahat kami excited talaga” she shared.

Angelica Panganiban also share the things that made their friendship special; “Meron kasi kaming iba’t-ibang personalities kaya siguro ang ganda na kapag nagsama-sama kami, iba-iba ‘yung napupulot mo sa kanila. Maiimpress ka sa kabaitan nitong isa, maiimpress ka sa katalinuhan nung isa, naiimpress ka sa sweetness nung isa. Iba-iba talaga sya and dapat ganon yung mga taong kinakasama mo lagi diba para matulungan kang ayusin din yung self mo yung nakikita mo yung mga magaganda sa kanila and ‘yung mga hindi magaganda sa kanila hindi nila pinagmamalaki, gusto nilang ayusin kung anong hindi maganda sa kanila and ‘yung maganda dun nagtutulungan ‘yung mga kaibigan mo para maging mas better ‘yung taon yun. Hindi kami naghihilahan pababa, lagi naming pinupush ‘yung isa’t-isa.”


It is true that real Queens fix each other’s crown, though they are oftentimes pitted against each other by the viewing public, they did not let that affect their friendship and continue to lift each other up!

Mayor Isko to Angel Locsin, “Mabasa ka sana ng ulan para dumami ka pa.”

City of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno was filled with so much gratitude as he thanked those people for their outpouring support to the city of Manila via donations and to those who have provided assistance including the philanthropic actress Angel Locsin and her fiancé Neil Arce. The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
