Ako Bakwit thanks Angel Locsin and Arla PH for donating Arla Organic Milk Drink that was distributed to senior citizens!





Since the onset of the pandemic, Angel Locsin has been really busy pooling resources and funds for the benefit of the healthworkers and people who are displaced amid this crisis. When the country was placed under lockdown and a temporary halt on mass transportation was in effect, the actress together with her fiance and some friends in the biz initiated a project which aims to provide health workers of Taguig space to sleep close to their workplace for the time being.


Right after then and after some hospitals reported that they are operating at full or overcapacity, she once again gather all her resources and use her connections to raise funds to help solve overcrowding at hospitals. The project dubbed as #UniTENTweStandPH was a huge success as they were able to raise almost 11M pesos in less than 3 weeks and was able to donate more than 200 isolation tents to 135 hospitals in the metro and neighboring provinces.




Aside from the above mentioned projects Angel Locsin spearheaded, she also sends donations and pledges from herself, her friends and companies she endorses to the health workers and to the people who are badly affected by the pandemic. Talking about using her connections to a greater good, just recently, Ako Bakwit, a non-government organization expressed their gratitude to the actress and to the milk brand she’s endorsing, Arla Organic, for sending Arla Organic Milk Drink to their organization with which they distributed to senior citizens!




We have seen how people come together to help one another in this time of pandemic. Apart from Arla PH, some of the brands Angel Locsin represent share the same compassion and are always ready to help those who are in need!

City of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno was filled with so much gratitude as he thanked those people for their outpouring support to the city of Manila via donations and to those who have provided assistance including the philanthropic actress Angel Locsin and her fiancé Neil Arce. The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans. On her Instagram post, the actress expressed her gratitude to more than 100 volunteers who helped them repack food packs and hygiene kits.
