Angel Locsin pours her heart out as she shares her sentiments after ABS-CBN's bid for franchise was denied.

It has been more than 5 days after the lower house denied ABS-CBN a fresh 25-year franchise. It caused uproar from the network's employees, supporters and their artists. Each day, they are holding noise barrages around Mother Ignacia Street as they make some noise for the 70 representatives who voted against the franchise to hear.

Angel Locsin is one of some Kapamilya artists who have been very vocal of her support to the network since day 1. She has always been vocal of her position about the franchise issue and her concern for the 11,000 employees who can potentially lose their job now that the franchise was denied. She sure is brokenhearted after the decision was made that it took her five days to compose herself and reflect on what she actually felt about the situation as what she shared on a lengthy post on Tuesday, July 14.

"It took a while before I was able to compose myself and feel how I actually felt about the situation. Alam ko I am sad, alam ko i am angry.

What happened to ABS-CBN could have been the chance to fix the imperfections in the entertainment industry but those who voted against the franchise chose the rigid path and pulled the plug instead says Angel

I was genuinely hoping that we could turn this into an opportunity to fix the industry’s issues.

But those 70 congressmen chose to shutdown the network instead of standing up for the people and fix those problems.

What’s the purpose of those testimonies from laborers fighting for their rights kung dito lang magtatapos? In the end, we, in the entertainment industry, especially the day to day earners, kagaya ng crew, were still denied of the opportunity to work in better labor conditions.

But sadly, the congress chose a rigid path, pulled the plug and ignored the plea of the entertainment people. They chose the easy way out instead of curing the disease.

The actress-philanthropist ended her post by reassuring that she'll fight even though it's a tough battle because her Kapamilyas need her more than ever.

Naniniwala akong hindi mawawalan ng saysay ang lahat...dahil tatatak ito sa kasaysayan and we, the Filipino people will never forget "
