Angel Locsin ‘naglaba, naglinis at nagharvest ng talong” on the Iba Yan’s episode last Sunday!





Aside from the heartwarming and inspiring stories  of KakaIBAng Pinoys that the Kapamilya’s docu-reality show Iba Yan is rendering to the viewers, it also offers us glimpses of Angel Locsin’s raw moments that we don’t get to see everyday.


We used to admire Angel as a protagonist, a leading lady on films and teleseryes but this time, she’s portraying no one but herself with no fabrication whatsoever. As the show of Iba Yan, we get to know more about the side of her who is simple, compassionate, humble and easy to get along with as she tells stories of modern day heroes every Sunday on the Kapamilya Channel.


On the previous episode of the show, netizens were delighted to see another kakaIBAng moments that make the Angel Locsin relatable, doing normal or everyday things that never ceases to amaze every time.


To better understand the situation of the people they feature on the show, Angel and team Iba Yan immerse themselves in their lives and it’s a refreshing change to see a huge star like Angel being totally normal around them.


Just like on the episode last Sunday, Angel enjoyed what seemed like a super fun and touching heart to heart talk with Diana and her mother while doing their laundry. She also helped Ahriel’s father in harvesting ‘talong’ and Sir Bob in cleaning classrooms for Brigada Eskwela.


Ahriel and Diana are students of Don Arsenio Escudero Sr. Memorial School  who received full scholarship from the local government of San Pablo City with the help of team Iba Yan. Sir Bob is the school’s head teacher who dedicate his life in providing quality education in their community despite the devastating effects of poverty and the global health crisis.

Mayor Isko to Angel Locsin, “Mabasa ka sana ng ulan para dumami ka pa.”

City of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno was filled with so much gratitude as he thanked those people for their outpouring support to the city of Manila via donations and to those who have provided assistance including the philanthropic actress Angel Locsin and her fiancé Neil Arce. The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
