Angel Locsin, Liza Soberano, and other Kapamilya stars join noise barrage to honor the Brave 11 who voted in favor of ABS-CBN franchise.




It has been 4 days since majority of the representatives in congress denied ABS-CBN of a fresh 25-year franchise. It surely is a heart-breaking news for the network's 11,000 employees as their job is on the line. Their cry is to give the network a chance to be better but they were denied of that chance.


ABS-CBN employees and its supporters believe that the network deserve the franchise and they are fighting for it. Even after the fate of the franchise has been decided, the network's employees and its supporters have been holding noise barrages in front of ABS-CBN building. They are making some noise for their cries to be heard, for their pleas to be granted.


After joining the caravan on July 10, Angel Locsin was once again seen on the streets as she joins the noise barrage last July 12. On her banner she thanked the "Brave 11", the 11 representatives who are in favor of granting ABS-CBN a fresh franchise.


With Angel Locsin is her fiance Neil Arce who have been so supportive of her since day one.


Beside Angel Locsin is Liza Soberano who's also one of the Kapamilya stars who have been most vocal of her support to the network.



Other Kapamilya stars in sight are Melai Cantiveros, Bianca Gonzales, Robi Domingo, Enchong Dee, and Iñigo Pascual to name a few.

The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
