Trailer’s out! Angel Locsin’s docu-reality show ‘Iba Yan!’ is set to premiere this Sunday. Don’t miss it!





Angel Locsin is set to host a public service program “Iba Yan” that will feature true stories of inspiring Filipinos helping their fellowmen amid the coronavirus pandemic. The docu-reality show will air every Sundays, 6:15 pm starting June 14 on Kapamilya Channel.


“Angel locsin po. Bida sa pelikula, bida sa teleserye. Pero sa pagkakataong ito, hindi po ako ang bida,” as she introduces the program in its trailer released on Thursday.

Among the inspiring individuals that will be featured on its premiere episode, is a priest caring for street dwellers, an ordinary designer creating and distributing face masks for free, and a shop owner who gave an old man a bicycle.




Angel also revealed in an an exclusive interview with ABS-CBN’s MJ Felipe, that apart from sharing these amazing stories, she will complete a weekly mission in which her best friend Dimples Romana would also join as shown in the trailer, and will help these inspiring people to further their causes, whether through donations or connecting them to government services.


"Itong proyekto nating ito, hindi lang tayo natatapos sa kwentuhan lang, tayo'y kikilos, meron ditong kaakibat na aksyon. Sa bawat mission po natin ay meron po tayong munting tulong na ibibigay sa taong ito para mas makatulong pa po sila sa mga tinutulungan nila sa aming munting paraan" she said.


For what it’s worth, i couldn’t think of anyone else best fit for this show but Angel Locsin who herself has been nothing but inspiring since the onset of the pandemic.

The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
