“Thank you for putting this whole thing together once again!” Shop and Share web designer to Angel Locsin.




Shop and Share was first introduced way back 2009 to help victims of typhoon Ondoy. Spearheaded by Angel Locsin, Anne Curtis and Dimples Romana in partnership with Philippine Red Cross, celebrities came together and donate some of their valuable pieces to the cause all of which were auctioned and was sold to the highest bidder. This year, the team decided to relaunch the project which this time aims to aid the government in increasing testing for Covid-19. It is dedicated to help our fellow Filipinos who need to get tested during the pandemic. They aim to cover the expense for testing kits to the underprivileged who are affected by the global crisis through the funds that will be raised.


Apart from Angel Locsin, Anne Curtis, Bea Alonzo and Dimples Romana, other people behind Shop and Share who work hard to make it possible are Lester, the team’s web designer, Dennis Mendiola of Philippine Red Cross and Alfie Diaz Zuniga.




A few weeks since they went live, Angel, Anne and Dimples sent a little token of appreciation to their web designer who also happens to be their long time friend. On his Instagram account, Lester pens an appreciation message to his dear friends for their thoughtfulness and also thanked Angel Locsin for putting Shop and Share together.


His caption reads:

For the last couple of months we’ve all been busy with this initiative to help increase Covid-19 testing in the Philippines! Couldn’t think of a better way to spend my quarantine down time! Relaunching of Shop and Share was announced last May 18 through Angel Locsin’s Instagram account. The actress with her fellow celebrity organizers called for support from their friends in the industry and after a few weeks, they sold over 60 items donated by various celebrities and has now donated 600 test kits to our stranded Albayanos.

The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims.
