This coronavirus disease that has become a pandemic has caused a lot of changes in our lives. Sadly, those changes are mostly negative. We have lost a number of frontliners because of the virus, some of those who are in the frontlines were forced to move away from their families because of the serious danger it brings.

Since the onset of the pandemic, our frontliners are those who are mostly affected. While our Doctors, Nurses, and essential workers are out there, at the ground zero, people who are able and staying at home do not hesitate to send help. Some send personal protective equipment for their everyday battle and some sends food packs.

Angel Locsin is one of those who are actively helping the frontliners amid the pandemic. She started with "Camp Heal The World" which served as Taguig frontliners' sleeping quarters.




Right after then, she spearheaded a fund drive which aims to provide isolation tents to overcrowded hospitals. The fund drive dubbed as #UniTENTweStandPH has successfully raised a little over 11M pesos and has delivered over 200 tents to 135 hospitals in the Metro and neighboring provinces.


At present, the actress together with some friends in the biz are raising money through Shop and Share which aims to support increase testing capacity in the country.


With everything that she's done amid the pandemic, known singer, Mr. Janno Gibbs referred to her as the real hero. On his Youtube channel, he wrote a song about the latest happenings during the pandemic and what's trending. He did not forget to mention the frontliner and Angel Locsin who have been helping amid the pandemic.

City of Manila Mayor Isko Moreno was filled with so much gratitude as he thanked those people for their outpouring support to the city of Manila via donations and to those who have provided assistance including the philanthropic actress Angel Locsin and her fiancé Neil Arce. The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
