Shop and Share officially opens today at 6PM!
Shop and Share was first introduced way back 2009 to help victims of typhoon Ondoy. Spearheaded by Angel Locsin, Anne Curtis and Dimples Romana in partnership with Philippine Red Cross, celebrities came together and donate some of their valuable pieces to the cause all of which were auctioned and was sold to the highest bidder. This year, the team decided to relaunch the project which this time aims to aid the government in increasing testing for Covid-19. It is dedicated to help our fellow Filipinos who need to get tested during the pandemic. They aim to cover the expense for testing kits to the underprivileged who are affected by the global crisis through the funds that will be raised.
Relaunching of Shop and Share was announced last May 18 through Angel Locsin’s Instagram account. The actress with her fellow celebrity organizers called for support from their friends in the industry and after a few weeks, they are now ready to go live and will officially open later today at 6PM!
Prior to their live date, Shop and Share released photos of items that will be available on the online store. Apart from Angel Locsin’s sports utility vehicle, Sam Versoza of Frontrow pledged his 2011 Convertible Ferrari California at a reasonable price of 11M pesos which is 3M pesos lower than its current market value.
Dra. Vicki Belo’s designer shoes and bags, Anne Curtis’ luxury bag, Vice Ganda, Vhong Navarro, Liza Soberano, Bea Alonzo and Karla Estrada’s designer shoes will also be up for sale!
Help the team raise funds to achieve their goal. If you don’t want to Shop, the team has made it possible for others to share through sending donations. Details on how to shop and/or share will be released later once they go live. Don’t forget to follow shop and share on social media and visit shopandshare.store.
