"Our real-life Darna" : Another untold story about Angel Locsin's benevolence!
For the past decade, we have heard about Angel Locsin's relief efforts in far-flung areas in the country whenever we are hit by super-typhoons, earthquakes and even man-made wars. Because of her stature, as much as she would want to keep all of this in private, it is hardly impossible for her to not attract the attention of people most especially the media.
Stories about Angel Locsin's humanitarian efforts that were picked-up by media were all on a large scale. It was when the actress decides to visit affected areas and check on the survivors personally but never did we know, there are so much more untold stories about her benevolence.
On Instagram, philosophillip shared a heartwarming story about Angel Locsin and her encounter with kids who are selling polvoron for a living. It was during one of her visits in one of Mang Inasal stores as part of Pistang Chicken Inasal day celebration.
"our real life darna. Two days ago, Angel Locsin visited Mang Inasal Starmall branch as part of the Pistang Chicken Inasal day. Right after, she entertained photo ops from people outside the mall. A vendor of polvoron who happens to be a kid called Angel as her character in La Luna Sangre. She noticed the kid. The kid asked if Angel could buy all his polvoron. Then, Angel asked the security team to let the kid, together with his friends, to pass by so she could talk with them. She asked the kids to come with her to talk with them in her car. She gave the payment for the polvoron and told the children to never use rugby. She also checked to see if the children are wearing slippers. Then she let the children in Mang Inasal." he wrote.
"She didn't want this act of kindness to be caught in a video but in these moments when a lot of things seems to be awful it's nice to hear stories about helping people out." he added.
This random act of kindness told by the person who first-hand experience her altruism only proves that there's so much more to Angel Locsin's benevolence than what was picked-up by media. A real-life Darna indeed!
