One year ago today, Angel Locsin and Neil Arce got engaged!





On June 29 2019, Angel Locsin and Neil Arce surprised everyone with their engagement. Announcement was made through a series of photos they posted on their respective social media accounts. Outpour of well-wishers commented on their photo which also set a Philippine record garnering more than 1 million likes on Instagram, never did we know, they have been engaged for a couple of weeks before they officially made the announcement!


Dimples Romana, Angel Locsin’s bestfriend and Neil Arce’s accomplice in planning the proposal revealed that the proposal happened on father’s day that year which is June 16, exactly one year ago today.




After being engaged, Angel Locsin dedicated her time in preparing for their wedding. The actress and humanitarian opt not to renew her contract with ABS-CBN and did not accept any projects after her top-rated teleserye ‘The General’s Daughter’. For the span of one year, aside from planning for their wedding, the couple also visited other countries like Rome and Japan.


The couple is pretty much done with their wedding preparations in fact in an interview, they had to take a break from planning because they are way ahead of their schedule until Covid-19 happened. With the pandemic that we are facing right now and the regulations concerning mass gathering, as revealed by Angel Locsin on a live chat with Richard Gutierrez, they will not risk holding a wedding if the situation will not get better.


Everyone is looking forward to Angel and Neil’s wedding but because of the pandemic, we might have to wait a little longer. And while we wait for the big day, don’t forget to support this lovely couple by watching ‘Iba ‘Yan’ hosted by Angel Locsin and directed by Neil Arce.

Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
