Maris Racal helps Angel Locsin and Anne Curtis’ Shop and Share by selling her pre-loved clothes online!





Last June 2, Angel Locsin and Anne Curtis relaunched “Shop and Share,” to raise funds that will be used to purchase CoVid-19 test kits and allow more testing opportunities for the underprivileged affected by the pandemic. The said project was an initiative they started in 2009 to help those who were affected by Typhoon Ondoy.


On its opening day, they have raised over P700,000 from sold-out products donated by their celebrity friends like Ogie and Regine Alcasid, Bea Alonzo, Vice Ganda, Liza Soberano, Karla Estrada, Vhong Navarro, Pia Wurtzbach, Vicki Belo among others. More items from various stars and big personalities will be available on the next batch, said Locsin on an Instagram post, which will be announced soon!




Meanwhile, there are also celebrities who got inspired by the pair and decided to help out by selling their pre-loved items themselves and donating the proceeds to the project. One of them is the Kapamilya star Maris Racal, who thoughtfully consider how a lot of work is there already on her celeb Ate’s plate and chose to do the online selling herself. On her Instagram, she said:


“A week ago I was asked by Ate Dimples Romana if a had a few things to donate to Shop & Share. If you guys don’t know what it is, it is a donation drive spearheaded by ate Angel Locsin and ate Anne Curtis. Considering the piles of clothes I’ve been wanting to let go of, I felt it might be a lot of work for them. So to help them out, I decided to handle the online selling myself and donate all the proceeds to their program. Please bear with me, I am no expert at online selling but I am excited for this to start, for the chance to help out.

Angel was quick to reply and thank her on the comments.

Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
