‘Iba ‘Yan’ is one of the newest shows launched in Kapamilya Channel. Hosted by the actress-philanthropist Ms. Angel Locsin, the show features the real-life stories of unsung heroes amid the pandemic. It also tackles about the real-life stories and struggles of the Filipinos and their inspiring journey on championing these battles.

For the past two weeks, the show touched people’s lives. Their previous episode which is about the fishermen of Mauban Quezon is in fact still trending on Youtube with over 3M views!

This coming sunday, Iba Yan will share the story of the teachers, students and parents in giving their child the education they deserve amid the pandemic.


To protect the students and teachers from getting the virus, Department of Education outlined a different approach for this school year which is said to start on Aug 24. A blended learning which include online class and one common problem that arise from this new way of learning is the resources. Some students are not privileged enough to have the access to the internet. This timely and relevant topic is what you can expect on Iba Yan this sunday.


On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin posted a teaser trailer of what to look forward to this coming sunday. On her caption she wrote "Ang edukasyon ay isang pangunahing karapatang pantao. Isang kayamanan na hindi mananakaw nino man. Ngayong pandemia, mananatili kaya etong isang karapatan o magiging isang pribileheyo para sa iilan? The couple and their team who are behind the #UniTentWeStandPH campaign have donated 12x24 isolation tents to Gat Andres Bonifacio Memorial Medical Center that would be used for persons under investigation and COVID-19 patients. The said campaign aims to help address overcrowding amid the surge of cases of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) by providing additional room at hospitals operating at full capacity due to the pandemic. 22 hospitals have already received isolation tents and Angel is set to provide tents to 38 more in the coming days. Angel Locsin’s stance on ABS-CBN Closure: “Hindi ako uupo at mananahimik”

Earlier this afternoon, National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) orders ABS-CBN to halt its broadcast operations following the expiration of its franchise. This means that more than 11,000 employees of ABS-CBN and its subsidiaries will lose their source of income and it was rather heartbreaking as this shutdown of the Philippines’ biggest broadcast network comes at worst possible time amid pandemic. Darna to the rescue! A closer look to the sleeping tents for our health workers provided by Angel Locsin, Neil Arce and team!

On her Instagram account, Angel Locsin with her fiance Neil Arce and their team launched a "Donate a Bed" project. They aim to source out spare beds from their industry friends which will be used in the sleeping tents for health workers that they are going to set-up. A day after they collected the beds, the team began setting up the sleeping tents and after two days of hard work, they are able to turn-over the fully furnished sleeping tents to Taguig's local government unit. If you are wondering how the sleeping tents look like from the inside or how the security and sanitation on the area works, Niña Aquino, one of the volunteers who helped setting up the tents gave some details about that matter on her Facebook account. According to Aquino, there are receptionist with complete PPE to facilitate registration. There are also security guards roving 24 hours to ensure safety and tents will be disinfected and and will be cleaned regularly.

After visiting evacuation centers in Batangas, Angel Locsin made an accounting and lists down donated goods to Taal Volcano eruption victims. Known for her humanitarian efforts, the actress thanked everyone who helped her for this initiative which includes her family, friends in the industry and fans.
